Inter National Shito Ryu Karate Championship-12

            We had a nice time in pune during 3rd SHITO RYU KARATE INTER NATIONAL CHAMIONSHIP - 2012. Tournament was held in Hotel Orchid, such a wonderful hotel in pune. Lots of rooms and luxuries found in hotel. Tournament was conducted during 6th December to 10 december - 2012. Many countries like Hong Kong, Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri lanka and Bhutan were participated in this championship. Around 400 participants in this competiton. Such a big Air Conditioned hall in hotel to conduct this competiton.

            This time we were so lucky to attained knowledgebase referree and judge seminar from our technical comettee. Recently, from india, Sensei Sallaudin Ansari, Sensei Shaheen ansari and sensei Paramjeetji successfully passed their official exam from WKF (World Karate Federation). They conducted seminar for all referrees and judges regarding new rules of tournament. The method of teaching was excellant. We just felt that we were just playing game and learnt lots of things from those genuine persons. i am impressed a lot from all these three persons who taught us in possitive manner with good sense of houmour. Theory and Practical sessions both were superb and gave feel like AKF. That tournament was conducted under the supervision of SHIHAN LAL DARDA and technical comettee handled by all those three respected offcials.

            Atmosphere of tournament was just like big festival. lots of indian participants from different states. Inaugration of tournament done by the owner of the hotel. First two days there was the selection of indian plaers who played natinowide and first two players of each age category would selected for internaitonal level. Competition was really chellanging. I found that all the players done hard work  for this tournament. in KATA event, indian players perfored awsome. Thing i found that indian  players are much technical strong in KATA wit BUNKAI also. In KUMITE event, Hong Kong team was really impressive. their speed and foot work were so fast and smart. After that,  Bangladesh team also performed good as well as bhatan and nepal.

            There were 10 players of my team participated in this competition. That was so busy schedule for us from morning to night as lots of participant were there. I was also there as a judge and referree in that tournament. Our team also performed well in that competition. The results are given below of my team;

Believe in Quality not in Quantity

Once again Summer Vacation is very near and exam is just near to finish. This make me laugh that different activities centres are just run here and there for vacation batch and coaching camp held at various places. Some are literally fight to occupy some place to start their activity. These activities teachers or coach just start to talk about the quantity of their centres. They just start to count how many centres they got to run their summer camp for their particular activities. I often meet these kind of teachers or coach and they just start to count their centres and talk very high with lots of worthless pride. It really make me so irritate to bear. They never talk about their method of coaching or quality of teaching. They never plan for what they want to teach the students who will come to them in summer but they just competes with others that how many schools or centres he got than me. it sound ridiculous. anyway, its all about the culture what people live here but i am also happy for some of those students and parents who really recognize the quality and standard of teaching at some particular place. I just remember one story here that i would like to share with u…

Once upon a time, there was a baker who made the best cookies in the whole word. People would stand in line just to be able to purchase a single cookie and when they ate it, they would feel an overwhelming sense of happiness. Each cookie was unique and a masterpiece. But the baker could only produce three or four each day.

One day a cookie company contacted the baker and offered to mass produce his cookies. A factory was built near the original bakery, which was bulldozed to make a parking lot. The new cookies looked the same and were made with the same ingredients, but they were not the same. They lost their uniqueness. When people bought them, they tasted like ordinary cookies.

After selling millions of the new cookies, the baker became disillusioned. He missed making masterpieces. And so he decided to make a new bakery and start over again.
Unfortunately, the cookie company obtained an injunction preventing the baker from ever selling his cookies again, as he had sold them his rights.
And so the baker retired and dreamed for the rest of his life about his original cookies.
The moral of the story is that three or four masterpieces are better than a million ordinary cookies.

I hope that story is enough to understand for those who just run blindly here and there for thinking of quantity of centres but never work hard to generate the quality. But i just believe in the quality work and i just try that i ever produce that talent in my dojo which will be the best and leading example for rest…

here i share some of the photos of my dojo regarding function and demonstration…
